Dubai, the powerhouse connecting Middle East, South Asia and Europe is soon to become the busiest international airport in the world. As per a UK travel report, the Dubai Airport will be handling around 98.5 million passengers by 2020. With an expected growth rate of 7% for the next few years the airport would reach 75 million passengers by 2015, making it the busiest airport in the world.

With two international airports, Dubai (DXB) and Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum, the traffic is bound to increase in the most promoted and attractive part of the world. Dubai is also increasingly becoming a traveler’s destination and shopping paradise with its huge shopping malls and fun infrastructure.

According to Daniel Ox of Beat the Brochure, it’s a positive sign for travelers heading to Dubai as it shows that more and more people are choosing to travel to Dubai – in fact Dubai Airports predict that 75 million passengers will have passed through the airport by 2015. This is surpassing any other airport in the world interms of passenger traffic.
