Not sure where to fly in 2011? British Airways decided to give passengers a little hint by publishing it's top ten destinations for the following year. Although half of them are not by a surprise, there are some worth looking at. The first spot definitely is. Who would't like to explore a medieval city in Africa?

The top destination lies in Africa

Destinations in the US, Caribbean or Indian Ocean are keepers. They are very well known among tourists. British Airways decided to point out a destination that a few people know about. The North African Marrakech is put on the number one spot. Flights to the Marrakech (RAK) airport are commencing on March 27, 2011. If you want to experience the various street markets and visit luxurious palaces located in the historical city center called Medina, you can book the flight right away.

Additional destinations worth visiting

To complete the list, nine destinations are to be mentioned. They are: San Diego (flights start on June 1, 2011), New York, St Kitts & Nevis, Puerto Rico (service starts on March 28, 2011), Maldives, Japan (flights to Tokyo International (HND) since February 19, 2011), Las Vegas, Mauritius and St. Lucia. As you can see, there's something for everyone. Whether you are looking for a sunny leisure destination or a busy 24-hour city.

And here's an extra tip for you. These destinations offer plenty of things to see and do. Figuring out what's worth seeing and doing is not an easy task. That's why we have launched Tripomatic, a visual trip planner. Let's get started with a map of Puerto Rico attractions for example.

London New York 17 times a day

In cooperation with American Airlines and making use of the joint business with Iberia (detailed information), you can now choose from as-much-as seventeen flights a day on one of the world's busiest routes London-New York.
