AirTran unveiling seasonal schedule, more Caribbean flights
One of the America's premier low cost airlines has just published it's summer flight schedule. It is focusing on Caribbean destinations. Current routes will receive a boost and several new destinations are added. Let's have a look at some of them.
Enhanced Caribbean service from Atlanta
Starting this spring, flights are being added from the airline's hub at The William B Hartsfield Atlanta International (ATL). Services to Aruba and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic are upgraded to daily schedule in the coming months. Moreover, flights to Cancun in Mexico start on February 16. New service to Bermuda will be launched late May. Some of the Caribbean services currently in operation will be upgraded. San Juan in Puerto Rico will receive two daily flights starting April 5 and Montego Bay in Jamaica gets a second daily flight on weekends on February 26.
Upcoming seasonal services
For this summer, AirTran is relaunching several seasonal services. These include Baltimore/Washington to Los Angeles route, daily flights begin on March 8. Saturday flights from Milwaukee to Cancun, Mexico are available since May 28. Moreover, General Mitchell International (MKE) flights to Tampa, Florida and Phoenix, Arizona are boosted for this summer too. Additionally, three new routes will be added from Tampa International (TPA). Seasonal service to Asheville resumes on May 6. New routes to Key West and San Juan, Puerto Rico start early March and April.
