Delta Air Lines hiring 1,000 flight attendants
It has just been announced that Delta Air Lines will be adding 1,000 flight attendants for international flights. Not only new manpower will be hired but furloughed workers are going to be recalled. The newly hired staff should start working in the middle of 2011.
Especially candidates fluent in foreign languages are welcome. The airline representatives have stated they need Japanese or Mandarin speaking people the most. They will join the airline's current 20,000 flight attendants.
It seems the recession is really starting to go away. Last week the American Airlines have started bringing it's 800 furloughed staff back to work. They are planning on adding more international routes as well.
